Company History
Sunwest Construction and Development Corporation started as Sunwest Construction and Supply in 1992. It was just a mere affiliate of Hi-Tone Construction, and based in the Bicol Region.
Starting with meager resources and equipment, Sunwest Commenced its business, supplying construction materials and undertaking small governement construction projects.
during its initial year of existence, SUNWEST embarked on an aggressive marketing and development plan, designed to procure construction projects and other works. As part of its "technology and technical transfer" strategy, SUNWEST entered into several joint - venture projects with other established construction firms in the region, including with its mother company, Hi-Tone Construction.

It also immediately implemented a systematic acquisition program of equipment and physical facilities to strengthen its foothold in the Bicol Construction Industry.
by 1996, SUNWEST has grown into leaps and bounds, so much so that it took over the management and operation, including the assets of Hi-Tone Construction. With an expanded asset base, SUNWEST has ventured not only in road construction and design, project management, real estate management and development, management and operation of sports and leisure facilities, and other construction related industries.
Its diversified undertakings led to the better of other sister companies...
Its integrity, workmanship and reliability have gained the trust and confidence of its numerous clientele in the government and private sectors not only in the Bicol region but throughout the country, as well. Its numerous projects completed and undergoing implementation are but mute testimonies of the credibility and trustworthiness of SUNWEST.
